Researchers have concluded on human abilities during the recent decades that beside two general Intelligence (IQ) and excitement Intelligence (EQ), there is another aspect of Intelligence which is completely limited to human. In fact, it is said that IQ and EQ are not accountable for everything and not really effective. However, human needs a third factor, which is called Spiritual Intelligence (SQ). Accepting multi Intelligences and existence of different approaches on this matter, it seems that not only the common fields but also Spiritual Intelligence being unique could be explained briefly comparing to other types of Intelligences and its abilities. Spiritual Intelligence could be openly recognized from other Intelligences by some inherent abilities, features such as ability for Spiritual state, metaphorical mental process, and create a general viewpoint to life experiences.

There has been presented different views on Spiritual Intelligence. In this paper some considerations on the views, the findings of some studies on the effects of Spiritual Intelligence in individual and social life, its place in religious teachings, some of its qualities and methods of supporting and its distinction with common Intelligence have been studied.

Teachers have begun to use the term 'Spiritual Intelligence' in their educational discourse. Is it correct to consider Spirituality as a form of Intelligence? This paper explores whether the existence of such Intelligence is plausible, by initially discussing the notion of Spiritual experience as a mechanism for problem solving, one of the central themes that underlies the concept of Intelligence. Then, the author examines the functions of some of the neural sites of the human brain that have been found to be active in those who have had Spiritual experiences. In the light of this discussion, it is argued that although some reservation remains in considering Spirituality as a form of Intelligence, the concept itself may nonetheless be rendered as plausible.

Background: According to reported research, Spiritual Intelligence plays an active role in individuals' mental health, and the effectiveness of students' tolerance threshold and resilience on mental health has also been positively reported. In the predominant culture of Iranian universities, there are no indigenous patterns and logic to explain the effective factors on mental health, thus the need for creating a suitable indigenous model in this area is essential. Aims: The aim of the present study was to propose a model for elucidating the mediating role of resilience in the relationship between Spiritual Intelligence and mental health among students of Tehran's Azad University. Methods: This study was descriptive and of correlational and structural equations type. The statistical population of the study included all students studying at Islamic Azad Universities in Tehran during the academic year 2022-2023. A multi-stage cluster random sampling method was used to select the sample, and a total of 685 individuals responded to the mental health (Goldberg, 1972), Spiritual Intelligence (King, 2008), and resilience (Connor & Davidson, 2003) questionnaires. Correlation analyses were conducted using SPSS software, and structural equation modeling analyses were performed using AMOS software. Results: Statistical analysis of the data showed that Spiritual Intelligence has a direct, positive, and significant impact on mental health (p< 0.05). Additionally, Spiritual Intelligence indirectly predicts students' mental health through the mediating role of resilience (p< 0.05). Conclusion: Given that Spiritual Intelligence is a trainable attribute, it is recommended that executives and stakeholders plan to enhance this attribute among students, thereby taking steps towards improving individuals' mental health. Therefore, it is necessary to create conditions for students to engage in discussions on life theories, death, and existence, pay more attention to non-material aspects (Spirituality), and find meaning and purpose for their daily experiences.

In this article, after a brief introduction to the psychology of religion, the latest concept of Spiritual Intelligence is presented. In recent years, the Intelligence has not only been considered as a cognitive ability, but it has also been extended to other fields like emotional Intelligence, natural Intelligence, existential Intelligence and Spiritual Intelligence. The theoretical framework of Spiritual Intelligence and it's components are discussed and the challenges of this new concept are considered. Then, some of it's components are compared with Islamic and literary works. Finally several questions are proposed for future study.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the relationship between Spiritual Intelligence, emotional Intelligence and auditors’ performance. The research method was descriptive-surveying and the studied time was 2014. The statistical population was selected from the auditors employed in 13 audit institutions. Sample size was set 159 according to Cochran sampling formula.180 questionnaires were distributed, of which 148 questionnaires were received for statistical analysis. The probability of resulting in significant model parameters was used to test the hypothesis. Suitability of the model was evaluated through structural equations. The results show that: There is a significant relationship between emotional Intelligence and Spiritual Intelligence. There is no significant relationship between Spiritual Intelligence and audits performance. There is a significant relationship between emotional Intelligence and performance and finally, emotional Intelligence mediates the relationship between Spiritual Intelligence and auditors' performance.

Spiritual Intelligence involves a kind of adaptation and problem solving that includes the highest levels of growth in different cognitive and ethical domains and helps the individual to coordinate with the surrounding phenomena. The purpose of this study was to explain the relationship between moral Intelligence and Spiritual Intelligence with psychological resilience in students: to investigate the mediating role of Spiritual Intelligence. In this study, 80 female students of the academic year 2010-2011 in Behshahr province were selected through multi-stage random cluster sampling. Participants completed Lennick and Kiel (2005), Shah Hoseini and Mokhtarpour Poor's Spiritual Intelligence Questionnaire (2010) and Conner's Persistence Scale and Davidson (2003), Correlation and regression tests were used to analyze the data. The results showed that Spiritual and moral Intelligence can significantly predict 25% of the variance of students' resilience (P <0. 01). Based on the research results and the role of Spiritual and moral Intelligence in increasing-resilienceoriented programs, it is necessary to pay attention to these factors.
